Every Centricity customer must upgrade their Centricity Practice Solution prior to January, 2012 in order to meet the new EDI 5010 requirements. You will be unable to submit insurance claims if you fail to upgrade to the proper version of CPS. Final Support understands the financial impact of planning for hardware that will meet your system needs for the next 3 – 4 years and that is why we are providing you with these hardware specifications.
- Past versions of Centricity Practice Solution (prior to CPSv9.5) required Windows Server 2003 32-bit and SQL Server 2005. This operating system and SQL server versions will not support the present and future versions of CPS.
- CPSv9.5 and CPSv10 will require Windows Server 2008 R2 and SQL Server 2008. These CPS versions will not run on Windows Server 2003 and SQL Server 2005.
