Interface Description:
This is a 2-way interface that sends patient demographics and scheduling
information from Centricity PM to IKnowMed and charge information
from IKnowMed to Centricity. MIK is not required.
Patient Demographics
Sends patient demographics from Centricity to IKnowMed.
Appointments
Sends appointments from Centricity to IKnowMed.
Billing Data
Receives billing data from IKnowMed into Centricity.
The charges and diagnosis codes from IKnowMed are attached to the
patient’s existing visit in Centricity. If no existing visit
is found, a new visit is created and the charges/diagnosis codes
are attached to the new visit.
What fields transfer:

is used to compute the fees.
What triggers the transfer - manual or
automatic:
Automatic: (default every 10 seconds) Patient Demographics
The patient's information is updated in IKnowMed when a patient
is updated or a new patient is added in Centricity.
Appointments
The appointments are updated in IKnowMed when they are added,
modified or cancelled in Centricity.
Billing Data
The charges are sent to Centricity when procedure and diagnosis
codes are added to a patient/note in IKnowMed.
