Interface Description:
This is a 1-way interface that sends patient demographics from an
Excel sheet (or a tab-delimited text file) to Centricity. Generating
the input file is the client’s responsibility. MIK
is not required.
Patient Demographics
Sends patient demographics from Excel to Centricity. New patients
are added while existing patients are updated.
What fields transfer:
Patient Demographics. • Patient ID • Patient Name (Last, First, MI) • Patient Address (City, State,
Zip) • Patient DOB • Patient Sex • Patient SSN • Patient Phone • Referring Physician • Primary and Secondary Insurance
Carrier Names • Insured IDs
What triggers the transfer - manual or
automatic:
Automatic: (default every 10 seconds).
If the patient's information exists in the excel sheet, it will
add or update the patient information in Centricity.
