Technical Sales Specialist
BASIC POSITION SUMMARY:
The Technical Sales Specialist is responsible for executing proven sales strategies and activities for the company. This dynamic role includes a blend of new business and selling upgrades to our existing customer base to grow market share and revenues. This position will continually develop, build, and maintain positive customer relationships and develop new ways to implement new software and ancillary products to improve physician’s office flow.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidate must be a strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and think outside the box.
- Must possess strong interpersonal, leadership, and customer satisfaction skills.
- Bachelor’s degree is required or equivalent work experience such as 2+ years medical and/or technical/IT sales experience with proven track record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience operating office equipment and computers including MS Office applications.
- Experience selling a cloud environment.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Present successful and knowledgeable demonstrations to supervisor, peers and potential clients.
- Carry through the sales process of PM and EMR systems to prospects and existing client base.
- Responsible for the client throughout the implementation process.
- This person will be assigned a base salary and have a quota to meet or exceed monthly.
- Provide sales forecast reports on a weekly basis to National VP of Sales.
- Assist in planning and attending seminars in assigned territory. This is to include follow- up on all invitations sent and ensuring attendance.
- Attend all training classes on PM and EMR products.
- Submit annual territory plan to project growth in assigned territory.
- Maintain product service-based relationships with customers within assigned territory.
- Other duties as assigned.
