PM Application Specialist

BASIC POSITION SUMMARY:

The Application Specialist provides procedural assistance to customers and end users on a variety of issues, including Practice Management software. The Application Specialist identifies researches, resolves, responds to, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 1 – 2 years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding of office flow, billing procedures, and a thorough knowledge of Practice Management software is required.
  • Basic PC knowledge, including but not limited to moving a PC, adding printers, and locating IP addresses.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Respond to all incoming service calls.
  • Provide quality customer service to all customers.
  • Close a monthly average of at least 8 calls per day.
  • Provide telephone training as necessary.
  • Document all customer contact and information in the Case Management System.
  • Troubleshoot and refer EDI and IT calls to the appropriate departments.
  • Create and maintain internal documentation to be used by other team members.
  • Create Customer “Job Aids” to be utilized by all customers.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate person or department for assistance.
  • Maintain current customer information in the Case Management System.
  • Provide on-site training as necessary.
  • Research software and/or industry-specific issues.
  • Provide after-hours service as scheduled (1 week of duty on average once per quarter).
  • Act as secondary dispatch as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EMR Application Specialist

  • Understanding of clinical office flow, procedures, and a thorough knowledge of EMR concepts and application required.
  • Basic PC knowledge, including but not limited to moving a PC, adding printers, and locating IP addresses.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

New Business Developer

BASIC POSITION SUMMARY:

The New Business Developer is responsible for generating new sales leads for the Regional Sales Manager.   They will expand the Colorado sales territory for the Regional Sales Manager and develop new prospects through direct meetings, cold calling, and attending tradeshows. The New Business Developer will continually develop, build, and support new customer relationships.  In addition, this position is responsible for identifying and mapping designated areas for potential leads. This is an incentive eligible position.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must be an extrovert with the ability to make great first impressions.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, leadership, and customer satisfaction skills.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Must be a high self monitor with the ability to assess and maintain high personal performance; this position will not be closely supervised.
  • High school degree is required.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contact medical practices by telephone or in person to obtain information, build relationships and generate leads.
  • Explain products and services and answer questions from potential clients.
  • Obtain customer information such as name, address, and type of practice and enter information into Excel. 
  • Research potential leads by using sources such as telephone directories, and Internet searches.
  • Record names, addresses, and reactions of prospects contacted
  • Answer telephone calls from potential customers who have been solicited through advertisements.
  • Call or write letters to respond to correspondence from customers or to follow up initial sales contacts.
  • Schedule appointments for Regional Sales Manager to meet with prospective clients.
  • Conduct client or market surveys in order to obtain and updated information about prospective clients.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Technical Sales Specialist

BASIC POSITION SUMMARY:

The Technical Sales Specialist is responsible for executing proven sales strategies and activities for the company. This dynamic role includes a blend of new business and selling upgrades to our existing customer base to grow market share and revenues. This position will continually develop, build, and maintain positive customer relationships and develop new ways to implement new software and ancillary products to improve physician’s office flow.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must be a strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture and think outside the box.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal, leadership, and customer satisfaction skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree is required or equivalent work experience such as 2+ years medical and/or technical/IT sales experience with proven track record.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Demonstrated experience operating office equipment and computers including MS Office applications.
  • Experience selling a cloud environment.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Present successful and knowledgeable demonstrations to supervisor, peers and potential clients. 
  • Carry through the sales process of PM and EMR systems to prospects and existing client base.
  • Responsible for the client throughout the implementation process.
  • This person will be assigned a base salary and have a quota to meet or exceed monthly.
  • Provide sales forecast reports on a weekly basis to National VP of Sales.
  • Assist in planning and attending seminars in assigned territory.  This is to include follow- up on all invitations sent and ensuring attendance.
  • Attend all training classes on PM and EMR products. 
  • Submit annual territory plan to project growth in assigned territory.
  • Maintain product service-based relationships with customers within assigned territory.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EMR Consultant

BASIC POSITION SUMMARY:

The EMR Consultant is responsible for the training and implementation of Centricity EMR software in addition to all ancillary products. This person will be responsible for managing multiple implementations simultaneously. In addition, the EMR Consultant provides first-line support during the implementation phase and troubleshoots technical issues relating to the ongoing use of client databases, performs minor form edits, and provides consultation on workflow considerations and database set-up and management.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field or equivalent training/work experience such 2+ years as an EMR user.
  • Working knowledge of GE’s Centricity EMR (formerly Logician) preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task using project and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Detail-oriented and quality focused.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Must have a basic understanding of Practice Management functionality.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify software, set-up, and installation issues, compile, and distribute data to EMR Technical Consultant and EMR Technical Specialist to troubleshoot.   
  • Provide ongoing status documentation in the Case Management System (CMS).  Information will include the implementation process notes, and any communication provided to the client for documentation purposes.
  • Schedule EMR training after the initial kick-off call and ensure project is progressing in a timely manner.
  • Observe and understand medical practice workflows, and adapt training and software to conform to client needs.
  • Set up webinar training classes and distribute appropriate training materials to client. 
  • Train customers on functionality and use of Centricity EMR.
  • Consult with physicians and clinical staff throughout the EMR implementation process
  • Provide go-live support to clients, troubleshooting any workflow issues. 
  • Responsible for creating basic EMR forms or making basic edits to EMR forms using VFE/TFE.
  • Train customers on ancillary products such as Mobility, Ideal Image, Biscom, and VRI.
  • Travel onsite for orientation, site visits, and go-live.
  • Performs classroom, web-based/remote, telephone, and on-site training sessions on Centricity Practice Solution.
  • Ensure the submittal and receipt of pre-registration email to client.
  • Communicates class overview before web-based and classroom training session begins.
  • Instructs clients on day to day functionality including but not limited to registration, case management, scheduling, charge posting, payment posting, billing, and balancing daily transactions.
  • Will perform onsite training for go-live day.  This training will reiterate what was taught in web based and classroom training.
  • Performs go-live assistance.
  • Performs 30-day follow up onsite.  This class includes insurance payment posting, statement printing, month-end reports and covers any areas of PM that need to be reiterated.
  • Performs collections training 45 – 60 days after go-live training.  This training will assist in establishing the collections component of PM, create custom letters, review team reports, and demonstrate how to use the collection component of the software.
  • Conducts administration training with administrators, office managers and when requested, office staff.  This training includes instruction on provider set-up, schedule templates, procedures, diagnosis, facilities, fee schedules, etc.
  • Responsible for remaining abreast of software updates, and communicating those changes to the Final Support staff, via software update training sessions.
  • Assist Account Managers when needed with support issues.
  • Performs training on Final Support’s integrated scanning solution, Ideal Image.
  • Other duties as assigned.
